Lilliput Lane "Bend or Bump"
Bend or Bump. 2016 marks the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter, the world's favourite children's author. Born in London in 1866, Helen Beatrix Potter became one of the world's most successful writers and her stories and artwork have been enchanting children and adults alike since they first appeared in print in 1902.
To mark this auspicious occasion Lilliput Lane has produced a new collection of cottages inspired by buildings associated with Beatrix Potter but with a difference, as each piece is a simplistic version of the original cottage. Situated right next door to the former Hawkshead law offices of William Heelis, Beatrix Potters husband, this quirky building features as Tabitha Twitchits shop in The Tale of the Pie and the Patty Pan and earned its name due to the overhanging jetty on which passers by could bump their heads if they didnt.
Each figurine comes in its own colour branded gift box and dedicated deed card. Not a toy or children's product. Intended for adults only.
